Sooo my bae has the weirdest feet ever! They hurt pretty much as soon as he starts walking 😩😞
So today I let him drag me on one of those open topped buses around the city. We still managed to see a hell of a lot and we did hop off a couple of times (lunch and the Vatican; which FYI is amazing!) I will go further into detail regarding our trip to the Vatican in tomorrow’s post!
Today’s post however is mainly about achey feet and…Roma Pride 🏳️🌈 so we found out about Roma Pride yesterday and thought it’d be an amazing thing to be part of! But of course we don’t know Rome and finding it at the right time was difficult however we were super lucky and it found us!
I’m still baffled as to how people can be disgusted by another persons sexual preference or gender… Maybe because gay isn’t taboo in our household and it never has been. We saw a lot of the prep from the bus and saw some people in amazing outfits ready to march!
Pride was “over” but at dinner the last few were still going. And of course people were complaining about the city being slowed down. We even saw a car trying to block the van from getting through…..actually causing more chaos! I’m sure people were pissed off at being slowed down but this was one afternoon/evening. First off it wasn’t a secret, it was obvious it was happeneing. We knew about it after being here less than 24hrs….secondly get over it.
Honestly I’m just happy that we got to see it! And even join in a little! And to the haters thank you….because, when you make something; that doesn’t really change your life; such a big issue we get to celebrate it! 🙌🏻👏🏻
